The Virtual Terminal lets you accept payments directly from your computer — no card reader required. It's built for situations where the card isn't physically present, like phone orders, remote billing, or back-office payments where a customer is calling in their details.

Key In Card Details Securely

To process a payment, enter the card details and payment amount directly in the Virtual Terminal. It's straightforward and works the same way regardless of how the customer is reaching you — by phone, email, or any other remote channel.

Charge a Saved Card

If a customer already has a card on file in SwipeSimple, you can pull up their profile and charge it without re-entering any details. This is a quick option for repeat customers or any time a returning customer is ready to pay and their card is already saved.

Send a Receipt After Payment

Once the transaction is complete, send a receipt by email or text — whichever the customer prefers. The receipt goes out immediately and the transaction is logged in your history alongside everything else.
